What do we Offer

For non-experienced technicians, we offer a comprehensive 3-week training program, followed by a year of on-the-job training under close supervision. Subsequently, candidates undergo a one-week assessment, in line with internationally recognized certification standards. If they demonstrate competence, they are awarded a Level II certificate, enabling them to work independently for three years.

While many technicians come with prior experience, some may have lost their certification entitlement due to commercial agreements with lifeboat equipment manufacturers. These individuals possess evidence of certification aligned with manufacturer-established programs, complemented by years of practical experience.

Experienced technicians, under such circumstances, participate in a one-week re-assessment as mandated by internationally recognized certification protocols. Upon successful completion, they receive a Level II certificate, allowing them to work autonomously for another three years. At Cobalt Blue Academy, we are committed to maintaining excellence in lifeboat service through rigorous training, ongoing assessments, and adherence to global certification standards.
